Our guide assures us that we can be close to a well fed Grizzly, provided we behave properly. We got great shots from 30 ft distances. Martin insisted that all of our clothes must be clean from fishing scents.
The biggest mistake would be to run away which triggers the hunting instinct. A bear can easily outrun a human. This would not be a place for little kids.

Mama bear always stays alert. Her cups are vulnerable to wolves. The little ones run away like little kids. They are adorable but untouchable.
