After climbing snow-covered Mosquito Pass a trail sign was discovered. Decided not to visit Clyde Lake (see below).

Strong waterfalls feed snow-melt water into Clyde Lake. It's outflow forms a strong creek which is treacherous to ford.
About six crossings of the growing Rubicon Creek are required to reach the planned hike to Rubicon Reservoir. This plan required a change.
