On Day 1 we hiked to Waterman Gap Campground (red line).
Day 2 we climbed the 2000' China Grade and camped at Lane Camp. No water at camp, none on the trail, carried > 4 quarts from Waterman (blue line).
On Day 3 we hiked from Lane Camp via Joy Camp and Berry Creek Falls out to Waddell Beach, about 18 mi (green line).
